On any injury updates with RB Fred Jackson.
Fred’s not good. I know he’ll miss this one, and then we’ll have to decide what happens from there.
On RB CJ Spiller stepping in:
It’ll be his opportunity. We’ve had a lot of guys that have taken opportunities and done well with them and I fully expect that from him.
On Jackson’s injury:
He got kicked or kneed or something (in the calf).
On if Jackson will be back before the end of the season:
I don’t know about that. We’ll have to wait and see.
On how much the game plan changes with Spiller starting now:
It changes a little bit. You’ve got 10 other guys that have been doing things. You can’t change everything they’re doing and you don’t...

On RB Fred Jackson:
He’s banged up, but we’ll have to wait and see. I don’t know if I can give you a good answer right now. He’s hurting and I doubt he would practice early in the week. We hope to have him late in the week.
On if SS George Wilson’s injury will keep him out awhile:
I don’t know. It’s starting to heal, but it’s not there yet. I think if he can make some progress it’ll be a slow progress. Maybe we’ll get him back this week, maybe we won’t.
On WR Donald Jones and if there’s a chance he’ll play the rest of the season:
It looks like it’s more long-term than short term for him. (There’s an) Outside chance.
On if CB Terrence McGee had surgery:
Yea, he had surgery today.
On if Injured...

On WR Stevie Johnson’s injury update:
He won’t practice today. We hope we’ll get him out there a little bit Thursday and a little bit Friday and he’ll be ready to go Sunday. That’s what we hope.
On how much of a concern is it to maybe lose a top receiver:
That’s a blow for any team. But every time that happens it’s an opportunity for somebody else. If it happens we’ll work through it. If it doesn’t happen then we’ll go play as normal.
On if Johnson was out this week would WR David Nelson lineup outside:
Possibly. I’m not going to tell anything that might possibly happen right now.
On receivers being pressed more by opposing defenses:
We’ve been getting more bump (coverage) but it’s because that’s what the...

On C Eric Wood gone for the rest of the season:
It’s hard on him and it’s hard on us. He was having a very good year. He will be sorely missed this year.
On LG Andy Levitre moving to C:
It looks like that right now, yes. That’d be our best move. Looks like (Chris) Hairston’s back to pretty much full speed now so we’ll be able to play him at LT:
On if Levitre has ever played at the C position:
He did last year for us and took a few snaps actually. He’s played in a game there. The thing about Andy is he’s so smart and such a competitor. He’s so valuable because he’s good and he’s versatile.
On if LT Demetrius Bell has a chance of playing at LT or if it’s definitely Hairston:
Today, he doesn’t. He hasn’t even been on...

On what he remembers about Dallas HC Jason Garrett:
I knew he would be very successful in whatever he decided to do and I thought if he decided to coach he’d be a very successful head coach. I thought he was smarter than to coach but he ended up going into the business anyway. He’s done very well and I’m proud for him. He’s a great man.
On what was most appealing about K Dave Rayner:
He had experience. Stan (Kwan) had been around him before. Having experience was one of the biggest factors. All the guys we tried out kicked very well.
On if there’s an update on K Rian Lindell’s injury status:
They’re telling me we‘ll take it a week at a time. How fast a healer is he, all that kind of stuff.
On carrying two kickers and Lindell having a...
